Loved this event.
I brought 5 t-shirts to donate to Rethreaded. Rethreaded repurposes old t-shirts to make different products like blankets.
After reaching out to several different businesses, friends, and family members, I was able to raise over $400 for breast cancer education and awareness.
I helped plan and fundraise at ZTA's Crown Classic flag football tournament. I helped sell raffle tickets, get people to come out, and I personally raised $400 for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness.
I went to ZTA tabling to raise money and spread awareness for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. I tabled outside of the UNF library and at Blaze pizza.
I participated in monthly highway cleanups where I helped clean up a highway at the intersection by Kernan and Beach Blvd.
I donated cans to the lend-a-wing pantry at UNF which helps students at UNF in need.
Our UPD do so much for us on a daily basis and I was able to help show my appreciation for them by baking Valentine's cookies for them.
During the run I met so many people who either had breast cancer, is currently fighting breast cancer, or lost someone who had breast cancer. It was an emotional, amazing experience. This is my third year of doing the Donna Run and I am so thankful and proud to support breast cancer education and awareness. I was able to do this with all of my sorority sisters which made the day even better.
I participated in a Pink out UNF Women's Basketball game that was hosted by Zeta Tau Alpha. We presented facts about breast cancer, passed out ribbons, and supported our Ospreys at the game to spread awareness for Breast Cancer.
