There wasn't a ton of trash on the beach because there was a storm the night before. However, it was a great opportunity to partner with a fraternity from IFC.
Joining this partnership was an extremely humbling event. I spoke with many low income families who only spoke Spanish and had a hard time trying to feed their large extended families. I enjoyed hearing their stories and being able to provide them with goods.
While we cleaned the beach, we enjoyed each others company, and had the opportunity to allow the ocean to remain beautiful.
